BN
Added some junkyard hood vents to my 96 Grand Prix. Next project a rear spoiler.
94 olds vert
OMG. I can't believe how good those vents look now. They look great on your GP. Very cool. Edited September 8, 2011 by 94 olds vert

GOT2B GM
How did the cutting go? What tools did you use? Did you make a template from the j/y car? The reason I ask is because I want to add the vents to my 94 CS vert.
94 olds vert
I sold the vents to him. He took it up to a local shop and had them paint and install those.

The reason I ask is because I want to add the vents to my 94 CS vert. I had a body shop do them. I took pics and measurements from a Grand Prix on a local used car lot. I did lay the vents on my 93 CS vert just to see and they just didn't look right as the hood lines are different.

94 olds vert
Looks awesome man! So those vents actually function? Well, they are heat extractors. You can see heat coming out of them.
Mel87
That's pretty neat, they look real good on there. Atleast it isn't the Pep Boys stick on vents that serve no purpose.

virtuetovice
I can't stand the fender vents...or the stick-on hood scoops. But anyway, looks like the body shop did a top-notch job. The vents compliment those style wheels unusually well.

white4d96
How much did they charge you?
BN
How much did they charge you? $100. That included filling and fixing one of the vents that was a little gouged up, painting, cutting the holes, and mounting.
94 olds vert
Wow that's a pretty good price. If I can find the 89-93 vents I'll have that shop put them on. What's the name of that shop?

BN
they did a damn good job with that install/paint match!Yeah they did, I started to do it myself but figured I'd have half that much money in paint and supplies and if I screwed it up I'm looking for a new hood. They screw it up they fix it.
