Key Fob Question

I have a 93,I have the fob, but it does not work. Is there a battery inside ? If so how do I replace it ? Or is there anything at all I can do ?

There is either a small screw on the fob or not. If not take a small screw driver and pop it open. Try replacing the batteries.

 

First I would try your spare your fob and see if that works. If it does replace the batteries in the other remote.

 

If neither of that works. Then your RKE boxes needs to be resoldered. It's pretty easy to do. Check the main page for a write up of how to fix it. It's under common problems.

OK, there is no screw, so I will try the screwdriver and see if their are batts in there.

If there is no screw you should be able to pry it open. I heard people have also used dimes to get those opened.
