MrElliot Posted August 31, 2011 Report Posted August 31, 2011 This is on a 94 Cutlass Supreme SL Anyone know what this button is for? Located by the vent on left side of steering wheel. Also need the bulb number for a few burnt out bulbs. - Side Marker Turn Signal On Front - Reading Lamps On Rear View Mirror - Brake Light In Rear Window Thanks Quote
AL Posted August 31, 2011 Report Posted August 31, 2011 Bulb info should all be in your owners manual Quote
intern8tion9l Posted August 31, 2011 Report Posted August 31, 2011 where is the headlight switch if that's where the fog light switch is? Quote
ManicMechanic Posted August 31, 2011 Report Posted August 31, 2011 Right above it next to the cluster. Where the fog light switch and audio slider or top switch if you have a convertible resides in 1988-93. Quote
Mel87 Posted September 1, 2011 Report Posted September 1, 2011 Yeah fog light switch. Some times I like to ride around with just fog lights on. It looks cool Quote
tornado_735 Posted September 1, 2011 Report Posted September 1, 2011 To steal a quote from Galen (9Lumina6): "Fogs and yellows FTW!" Quote
94 olds vert Posted September 1, 2011 Report Posted September 1, 2011 I laughed pretty hard when I opened this thread. Turn it on by pressing the top part. Walk to the front of the car and look to see if the bottom lights are on. If they are it works good. Quote
MrElliot Posted September 2, 2011 Author Report Posted September 2, 2011 Thanks. I guess I have a wiring problem with the fog lights. Bulbs are now new, FOG LPS Relay is new and new fuse, but still no fog lights when I turn the button on. Quote
94 olds vert Posted September 2, 2011 Report Posted September 2, 2011 Does the button glow when you turn it on? Quote
AL Posted September 2, 2011 Report Posted September 2, 2011 Make sure your parking lights are on... I believe they have to be on in order for the fogs to come on... I could be wrong Quote
Mel87 Posted September 2, 2011 Report Posted September 2, 2011 Make sure your parking lights are on... I believe they have to be on in order for the fogs to come on... I could be wrong Correct, parking lights must be on to be able to use fog lamps, I wish there was a way to over ride this though. Quote
AL Posted September 2, 2011 Report Posted September 2, 2011 Should be pretty simple... I believe the parking light switch provides power to the fog light switch which it can redone so that the acc. power powers the switch so you can manually turn your fogs on anytime the key is on Quote
MrElliot Posted September 2, 2011 Author Report Posted September 2, 2011 Yes switch lights up when pressed/turned on. I've tried with lights off, parking lights on and headlights on, still no fog lights. Quote
