BN Posted August 28, 2011 Report Posted August 28, 2011 I have a set of oem hood louvers I would like to install on my 96 GP. Can anyone give me some measurements on exactly where they go? Quote
94 olds vert Posted August 28, 2011 Report Posted August 28, 2011 I tried searching and I didn't come up with anything. I'm sure someone here can help you out. Quote

BN Posted August 29, 2011 Author Report Posted August 29, 2011 on the hood? pick a spot? Aweb did it, maybe he'll chime in I want the drip pans to drip in the right place. It looks like they fit around the insulation mat holder brackets, looking at the underside but I would like to confirm before cutting. Quote
GaPrix Posted August 29, 2011 Report Posted August 29, 2011 Do you have the option of getting a gtp hood? I bought a 96 gtp hood/louvers for 28 dollars at my pull a part. Mine had to be painted, but the car was scheduled for paint anyway. Don't have to run the risk of an errant cut. I know a couple folks who have done that though, if I find them or the info I'll pass it on. Quote
Mel87 Posted September 9, 2011 Report Posted September 9, 2011 Looks nice! I still find myself surprised in the condition of that paint! Quote
94 olds vert Posted September 9, 2011 Report Posted September 9, 2011 Looks nice! I still find myself surprised in the condition of that paint! I have seen it in person. This paint is really nice. It's not my favorite color on these cars. This one is soo nice it really looks good. Quote
LuminaPower92 Posted September 15, 2011 Report Posted September 15, 2011 I love that color. I would tint those windows and roll that Gp like a mofo. Quote
Dannymik Posted September 29, 2011 Report Posted September 29, 2011 After you cut into the hood how are those louvers held in there? I think that they look good and I like the color of your car Quote
94 olds vert Posted September 29, 2011 Report Posted September 29, 2011 They are held in by the drip pans which screw into the hood supports. Quote
