89oldscutlass
I read a thread that someone on here was making custom modulator vaves for our cars or doing somthing to them to change the way they shift. I was just wondering who it was. Id like to change my shift points. On my old monty you can set the shift points on it manualy.

89oldscutlass
Your shift kit is what controls your shift firmness and your modulator valve controls your shift points. Thanks for the info though you was right you can get a ajustable modulator valve for our tranny.

scorpion_x9
I have a 4T60E and from my experience the vacuum modulator adjusted firmness and the computer controls shift points and buying a shift kit for it does exactly what an adjustable one from your local parts store will do. B&M Makes one for the 4T60E and i think it goes for the 4T60 as well, but it's a waste of money when you can buy an adjustable VM.
