Steve
Finally found a Cutty Vert in my local JY. Got the rear third light & moulding, both taillights broke & backup lightbar broke. Going back on Sat. morning it was103 & I rushed it & missed some stuff. Will get another pic of the whole vin# (glare & sweat rolling down my face was so bad could not see screen) & if someone needs anything let me know. 94 olds vert
That thing is beat, but still has less rust than any 'vert in the junkyard I've seen. Is the front valve cover painted blue?
Steve
I don't think so but I'll check on Sat. I think it's just oil with dust.
STGBROOK
Steve if you look and see if the pin cups are decent , I need a set also the plastic piece under the pin cups that's held in with 1 screw on the right side. If the 'A' pillar w/strips are not tore up my friend needs them on a 94 he just bought. Thanks, Brook
MemphisMan
I don't need it, but you should grab that front STB. Those are always in demand so it wouldn't be hard to sell.
1988PhantomFE3
It might be too much trouble for you, but I need a rear sway bar. My Son pulled an elderly lady out of the ditch during a snow storm and connected the tow strap to the sway bar (bent it)...how was I suppose to argue about that one! Thank you Ed Jimenez 360-674-7036
GOT2B GM
By the VIN I'd say its a 93. If the drivers door master window / lock / mirror switch is in good shape I'll buy that from you.
Steve
Ok everybody I'll try & get everything if in good shape. Ed, your's is the only maybe it's going to be 104 on Sat & if it's too hard a job I don't know.

STGBROOK
Steve if you get this before you head out to the yard in the morning I just found out tonight that my header w/strip around the front is torn. Trying to find my leaks and the damn thing is split in the middle. I don't mean to be a pain in the azz but if that one ain't tore sure would appreciate if you would grab it..... Just tell me what you need for the stuff and I'll square up with you right away. Thanks, Brook

Steve
Brook I'll check out it out, but by the looks of this car it's been sitting out in the sun for a long time.
Steve
Ok here's what I got 2 pin cups good shape, 1 drivers side plastic moulding under pin cup, 1 master window switch 1 STB & Third brake light & panel The switch works fine, I tested it on my wrecked 94 vert, needs panel painted though. Ed, tried to get that sway bar out but had no way to compress rear spring to get the bolts out of the strut to remove, (sorry) All W/S were in bad shape or would rip when I tried to remove. Really this car was not in too bad of shape no rust anywhere. I don't know about the engine or trans, had 120000 on it. PM me about the parts. 94 olds vert
About the window switch. The one on mine broke. I was able to take the cover off my old one and swap it on the new switch. Those pin cups aren't bad at all. Usually they are missing pieces around the rims.
95cutlass
How is the rear bumper reinforcement on the car, just out of curiosity?
Steve
Well I didn't look under the bumper but looks ok from the outside.
95cutlass
Well I didn't look under the bumper but looks ok from the outside. Thats okay no need for a special trip, i was just wondering because of mine being completly rusted out. Plus it would be ridiculous to ship. Steve
My 94 was all rusted out & I didn't even know it till it got rear ended. I don't mind getting this stuff ( in fact I love rummaging around the JY) but it's an hour away in Bakersfield & at this time of year it's too hot! I found a 95 coup with the same color dash in perfect shape (Mine has a big crack in it) I tried for an hour to get it out & went through 3 bottles of water & gave up. Has any body removed a dash out of these, what a pain.I actually try & hit 3 yards but not today
STGBROOK
Steve let me know how to pay you for the pin cups and receiver. I have pay pal so if that will work we can do it that way. Too bad about the w/strips but I guess it's hard to find a set that's not dried out. thanks Brook Edited August 29, 2011 by STGBROOK
Steve
Went back to the yard & got a few more parts off a 95 CS coupe, I got the dash out, what a job took me about 2.5 hrs total to get it out also removed all those minibulbs from the instrument panel in case anybody needs them. . Steve
Should be but can't tell you for sure. The yard is an hour away from me & it would cost some $$ to ship.
