gpchris
So my car overheated due to a leaking radiator but now the heat gauge is stuck at 260. The car has been sitting for two days so Its definitely not that hot. I took the gauge cover off spun the needle back down but everytime I turn the ign on it goes back up.. What's the deal? Crazy K
either A: failed sensor or B sensor wire shorted to ground.(most likely melted against EGR pipe?)
gpchris
It worked fine before.. I just checked the wires, they looked fine.. But which sensor sends the signal to the gauge?
gpchris
Well I unplugged the single green wire and the gauge went down. Safe to say that sensor is fucked. I guess my car didn't overheat. And to think I pulled over at a gas station for like 45 minutes waiting for it to cool down! Haha Edited August 24, 2011 by gpchris
