01 3100 with 3400 heads

is there a diffrence between headgaskets and are the uim the same? thanks01 malibu 3100

3100's and 3400's have different head gaskets, but I think that's because of the 3400's bigger bore and a 3100 head gasket should still be used with a 3400 head on a 3100. Manifolds and manifold gaskets are the same for 2000 and up 3100/3400 except I do think the manifolds on a U-van are a crappier design.
