Jprice90
as the title says, it did this since i bought it, and i think it only does it sometimes, like as i pick up speed the noise gets faster, i just have no idea what it could be..maybe like a wheel bearing? BXX
My money is on the tires. Rotate the tires and see if the noise changes where its coming from. I get the same complaint alot at my work. People think its a bearing and we check it out, its just old, or unevenly worn, or shitty tires. Replace them, noise all gone, customer happy. Jprice90
tires are brand new..it did this noise with the old ones, i shouldve said i had new tires lol..the front tires i had were bad, real bad actually..the old lady that had it bought cheap pepboy tires and they were dryrottted and had dents in the sidewalls

Thats called a radial undulation and is common with high sidewall tires. Its due to the manufacturing process where the belt package lays ever so slightly different. It causes no issues whatsoever and is purely cosmetic. Now that my fun fact is done:lol: Is the noise in the RF/LF/RR/LR?? Does it increase with speed? Does it change pitch on hard corning or manuvuers like that? If you answered yes to any or all of those, its prolly a bearing:lol: rear bearings on my vert have been noise since ive owned the car and prolly before that. I'll replace them when they actually pose a real problem like locking up or just getting horribly loose.
Jprice90
yeah lol..this guy i used to take my car to said it was a recall for that tire or something like that lol..agreed, it didnt mess handling up etc it was just weird lol it SOUNDS like the RF, it goes faster as you increase speed..at about 30mph or so it goes away or i just cant hear it. BXX
Wheel bearing rarely rarely rarely ever goes away, it just keeps getting louder as you go faster. Is it constant? Or is it kinda rotational and rhythmic? Bearings are almost always constant. Rhythmic noise, start looking at your brakes or halfshaft. Does it change depending on steering angle? And if it does, how does it change?
Jprice90
my brakes are good right now, and halfshaft could very well be the culprit now that you said that, how can i physically tell if thats bad? and no, the sound doesnt change when steering
