Oilpatch197
My Regal GS has the sun roof, no luggage rack. I would like one so I can haul a kayak. I've looked at aftermarket solutions, they are VERY expensive(Thule has a system) Is there anyway I can retrofit a rack off another vehicle, what is compatible? RobertISaar
I would get a new trunk lid that has a luggage rack this is going to be the cheapest and least risky way of doing it.
Oilpatch197
Not the trunk, the roof. Was there such a option? I can use those foam squares and run strap thru my doors and carry a kayak that way, or pay over $500 for a Thule system that attaches to the space between the door and body and have the bars that go across the roof. Thule makes this system, it IS very pricey and I can't seem to find anything else. I'm also looking for a trailer hitch, all I'm finding is all over $200. RobertISaar
i'm fairly certain no W ever came with roof racks. not even as a dealer installed option.
