bluerob Posted July 6, 2011 Report Posted July 6, 2011 how do you do this? is it just simple swap or do i have to drill or mod at all? Quote
alec_b Posted July 6, 2011 Report Posted July 6, 2011 I've been told they bolt in, just have a different lense design. you may want to swap out the lumi trunk center filler for the monte one that's black to match. Quote
RobertISaar Posted July 6, 2011 Report Posted July 6, 2011 if you've ever seen a LTZ lumina, you'll see GM actually did it from the factory as well. direct bolt-in IIRC . Quote
jimmyfloyd Posted July 6, 2011 Report Posted July 6, 2011 If i recall you might need to drill one hole at the top center of the trunk lid for the LTZ/Monte center panel as the base lumina never has a panel there, but other than that, it should be bolt in. Quote
urbex Posted July 6, 2011 Report Posted July 6, 2011 When the paint on the rear of the decklid starts peeling on my Lumina I'm just going to bolt on the LTZ panel... Quote
Cully77 Posted July 6, 2011 Report Posted July 6, 2011 Yeah for the ltz rear panel on a base Lumi you can drill a hole or I think some people just cut that tab off and it worked Quote
logikf1ve Posted July 7, 2011 Report Posted July 7, 2011 The trunk panel without the middle upper pins will warp in the sun. Just be warned. Also the fit of a Monte tail light with a Lumina trunk panel is absolutely terrible. They don't match because they are shaped different. If you want Monte tail lights make sure you do the trunk panel too. Quote
