bluerob Posted June 30, 2011 Report Share Posted June 30, 2011 ok ive got a 3100 lumina, heres the issue the car is hard to start, has a P0300 code "random/multiple misfire", smells like gas petty bad when its running, and i took my intake apart to clean the maf and found a beer can full of gasoline in the plastic bubble thing on the bottom of the hose in between the maf and the throttle body. when it was running i gave it a little gas and it bogged down. since then i havent ran it. i dont want to damage anything internal becausei dont have a cherry picker to rip the engine out. im only 21 and im new to 3100 engines. im used to imports like most guys my age. i could rip apart a toyota engine and put it back together in an hour. any ideas what is wrong with my lumina? id like to try to drive this thing sometime.
