grandprix104 Posted October 14, 2003 Report Posted October 14, 2003 How do you remove the wheel lock plate on a 94 GP? It is the mechanism that locks the wheel when the car is off. I cant figure out what is required - some other form of puller i guess. how? Quote
jesse Posted October 16, 2003 Report Posted October 16, 2003 I was going to tell you about that yesterday but this reply page would not load. looks as though you got it apart and back together. Hope it it alright, what you are refering to is called the airbag coil. center it by depressing the spring lock, rotate the hub in the direction of the arrow until it stops, then turn back 2 1/2 turns and release the spring lock. The airbag coil should be centered with the marks aligned and the tab fitted between the projections on the top of the steering column. This only needs to be done if the hub is rotated when it is removed from the column. Quote
