Night Fury
Yesterday- Ran perfect. Today- NOT SO MUCH. Kenny took it down to work at 9pm last night and it was running fine. When he got off(5am) he went to start it and it acted as if it was out of gas. No huge surprise there, the odo had 300 miles to the tank and our fuel gauge is broken. So I dumped 3 gallons into it..... no dice. Still running like ass. I limped it to the gas station, and filled up. 14 out of 18 gallons total, so it wasn't even empty........... Some things it's doing; -Will idle almost perfect, until you tap the gas to get it to stay at about 2k rpms. Then it cuts out repeatedly -Runs perfect at WOT -When coasting on the highway, it won't actually 'coast'. Hard to describe. I shifted into N and it died instantly.... Repeated twice. -Strangely enough, it DOES boost, but nothing shows on the boost gauge........ -NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHT. And before you ask, yes the light works. Video: Thanks for any help.... tornado_735
Sounds like maybe the TPS has taken a dump. Do you have a way to ohm it out? Someone here might know what the specs are.
alec_b
TPS is a variable resistor, you don't ohm it you do a voltage sweep. I'd still scan it and see if there's any pending codes, just in case. Possible MAF?
BXX
IIRC he is drive by wire.

Night Fury
CPS would do it worse iirc, weird my car would run the same with the maf unplugged/ Yeah my brother has a 3.8 camaro that the maf went bad on.... Wouldn't run. Unplugged the MAF.... Ran fine. So I don't know what is up with that or if it is even any concern with the more computer-controlled S3 L32
