Anti-theft and keyless entry on my 99 Grand Prix.

Hey yall. I thought i woudl give an update on my anti theft project. I got factory wiring diagraams for my Grand Prix and all the wiring and connectors for keyless entry and anti theft are on the car so i figured that i could plug everything in and it should work. and one more question. Will a anti theft shock sensor that came out of a 96 Camaro Z-28 work in my Grand Prix? I looked at it and everything looks the same except what is supposed to be the ground wire is a different color. Should that make any difference? Let me know. The part number for the shock sensor is 10268461. Thanks.

if i had to guess, the "shock sensor" is actually a mercury switch or maybe a accelerometer....

 

either way, knowing GM it's more or less interchangable.
