Crazy4408pac
I know it's the switch because it's sticking on. When I pull up on the peddle, the lights go out. Just need to know what it takes to change the switch.

55trucker
If the switch *opens* when you manually pull up on the brake pedal, why isn't the pedal returning to its normal *off* position by itself?
White93z34
or the switch just needs adjusted, the whole body of it is threaded, unplug the connector and turn it back a few turns and see if it still does it.
94 olds vert
^ That does work. I had to do that on my car. If I pulled up on my brake pedal the brake lights would go off.
Crazy4408pac
Yep, not the switch. I looked at why the peddle was't returning and discovered alot of crud built up around the pivot point. Blew all the crap out and sprayed some silicon on it and no more problem. Thanks everyone for the info. Saved me a big $3.75 for a new one.
