dohcnut Posted May 31, 2011 Report Share Posted May 31, 2011 First thanks to all for the help with my other posts. ok so my fuel door spring broke and i know its common. but apparently gm has discontinued the part. does anybody make them like 'help' maybe or has anyone fashioned a substitute spring setup?right now i have 'dum dum' holding it shut(works quite well) but am after a more permanent and proper solution any ideas or know where i can get this stupid little curved piece of spring steel? thanks. BXX Posted May 31, 2011 Report Share Posted May 31, 2011 Mine flew off the other day, never to be seen again. I used some 3m velcro, two tiny pieces and it stays shut.
