Z34guy Posted May 11, 2011 Report Posted May 11, 2011 I'm taking classes at Porter and Chester Institute for Automotive Technology. Anyways, I noticed my textbook has an entire section on the general overhaul procedure for a GM 4T60E specifically. For those who wanna know, the books were printed in 2010, so it's fairly recent. My question is, would anyone be interested in me getting that one section scanned and then posted here? also (*&%@&^ shift button. I meant 4T60E in the title. Quote
RobertISaar Posted May 11, 2011 Report Posted May 11, 2011 go for it.... i can get my guide through ALLDATA and compare it to see if anything has changed. Quote
BXX Posted May 11, 2011 Report Posted May 11, 2011 I would be, but I have the ATSG manuals for the 4T60e and 4T65e:lol: Quote
Z34guy Posted May 11, 2011 Author Report Posted May 11, 2011 Lol. Thanks. I should be able to get it up within the next few weeks. I've got a lot on my to do list and this honestly isn't at the top. I figured the rebuild procedure was, for the most part, common knowledge here and that all I had to do to get the procedure was ask. The downside about having the overhaul procedure in my textbook? I have no excuse now to swap to a getrag 284 when my 4T60E finally sh*ts the bed. Quote
Schurkey Posted May 13, 2011 Report Posted May 13, 2011 If you can do it, why not? Because it will almost certainly violate copyright law? Quote
