(+) and (-) wires

Just took off old crusted speakers from 93 Lumina Z34 dash and rear. OEM came with quick connects. Now that I have aftermarket speakers, which color is negative, the green or the red. please help.

front and rear. AC/Delco radio with cassette player.

[Breakdown]

If it's just speakers. It's not positive and negative it's treble and bass.

 

Turn the radio on, and if it sounds good it's done right. It will sound relatively garbled if you have it backwards - it will be obvious you won't need an 'ear' for good sound.

Red and Green? That doesnt sound right. Is this the Bose system?

i didn't see a red/green combo in any of them though...

Here is the wire colors, with Bose it should be the same.

If you dont see these colors right at the speakers, follow the harness and there should be a plug, on the other side of the plug you should see the colors listed in the link above. Also check to see whay Ohms your speakers are. Sometimes Bose systems use 2 Ohm speakers. In that case most aftermarket speakers, which are 4 ohm, are not going to sound very good.
