gp90se Posted May 2, 2011 Report Posted May 2, 2011 1996 cutty Turn the headlights on the left indicator light pops on dim, turn the blinker on it glows bright but doesn't blink. With the hazard lights on, the rears blink, thee outside left blinks but the inside front left stays off. I'm thinking ground issue, but more likely the multi function switch. Thoughts Jeff Quote
Psych0matt Posted May 2, 2011 Report Posted May 2, 2011 check your blinker fluid? If it sloshes to the side or rear it could cause that Quote
gp90se Posted May 2, 2011 Author Report Posted May 2, 2011 theres a bulb out They all seem to be working however I'll double check tomorrow Quote
55trucker Posted May 2, 2011 Report Posted May 2, 2011 You more than likely have a bad ground on the socket involved. When you turn on the park/headlights you remove the unintended ground path that the turn signal is using to function. Quote
95 vert Posted May 3, 2011 Report Posted May 3, 2011 Replace the left inner bulb front. You said it didn't work with hazards on, correct? Quote
Thundernuts1979 Posted May 3, 2011 Report Posted May 3, 2011 low blinker fluid..common problem..autozone has it cheap Quote
iroc2 Posted May 3, 2011 Report Posted May 3, 2011 make sure that it isnt your flasher relay. i had a similair problem on my 95 gp Quote
npfd Posted May 4, 2011 Report Posted May 4, 2011 I think the bulb also, I had an intermittent issue like this recently, in which turn signal left, and it would just stay on... I thought it was the switch, but after going back and hitting the casing it would work for a little while. Changed the bulb and it worked fine since.. Quote
Euro Posted May 4, 2011 Report Posted May 4, 2011 make sure that it isnt your flasher relay. i had a similair problem on my 95 gp Me too, except on my Lumina Quote
gp90se Posted May 6, 2011 Author Report Posted May 6, 2011 Swapped out the bad bulb, problem solved. I was reprimanded when working at autozone for putting a white bottle of brake fluid with no label, wrote blinker fluid 2.99 and left it on the counter Quote
iroc2 Posted May 7, 2011 Report Posted May 7, 2011 can also purchase de-ricer on kalecoauto.com with your turn signal fluid Quote
