Any suggestion how I can get the Trip Meter fixed on my Lumina Z34 now that I have the dashboard off? :think: It's the one above the odometer and it's just stuck @ 000. I'll post pictures of this BABY of mine and hope to get it done before the year is over, one system at a time.

switch the tripmeter out with one from another cluster (not the odo, the trip)

The issue is too much slack allows the teeth to slip. I have had to shim two or three trip or odometers over the years. i would gut a j/y cluster for parts and use one of the tiny brass washers from a donor to add to your clusters trip odo to force it closer to the the gear.
