rdw0483 Posted April 23, 2011 Report Posted April 23, 2011 Hello everyone. I am looking for others on this forum who may have a 1988 Olds Indy Pace Car. I have acquired one recently that has extremely low miles on it. Please notify me at any time and I will respond as soon as possible. Thanks. Quote

ManicMechanic Posted April 24, 2011 Report Posted April 24, 2011 Yes, a suburb outside of Dallas. Thought so I had seen it on ebay. But I never got a chance to go and check it out. Quote
rdw0483 Posted April 24, 2011 Author Report Posted April 24, 2011 Thanks, I'm finding out how rare these care truly are. Should be a lot of fun owning it. Quote
ManicMechanic Posted April 24, 2011 Report Posted April 24, 2011 Probably less than 15 remain. Most were destroyed. Crazy K has a lot of info on them. I was fortunate enough to get to go to the Indy Museum in 1988. Quote
cutlassdude96 Posted April 24, 2011 Report Posted April 24, 2011 nice pace car I see a 93 and 95 Indy Pace cars too Quote
rdw0483 Posted April 24, 2011 Author Report Posted April 24, 2011 It was exactly as advertised. I have spoken to a few guys who have one, however they all have salvaged titles on their vehicles. This vehicle has a clean title. This is the same vehicle discussed in the wikapedia article on the internet. It was originally owned by Fred Knaublach who was a dealer in Pennsylvania. I have a complete history on the vehicle including all of the media and pace car events from 1988. Quote
ManicMechanic Posted April 24, 2011 Report Posted April 24, 2011 Don't forget what appears to be an '82 Z28 pace car too... And a McLaren Capri? Quote
