jeremy
Hmmm, cutting off a few inches before the filter? Decent idea, but I think the other side is also shot, I'm trying to see where that's leaking I actually meant getting the entire line from the engine bay to the filter. I can't imagine driving a car with a ghetto fabulous rig-job on fuel line. I would rather walk.
Psych0matt
It's solid for now, I may mess with it more, or more likely I'll start looking for a new DD. Just dumb cuz the engine runs great
Timm
At my work, we sell small sections of fuel line repair items, a 3/8 fuel line with the male fitting on the end comes in 8, 18, or 36" sections, it's barbed on the end to put a fuel line on, but we usually just sell the customers a 3/8" compression fitting. Works great! (and usually under $20!)
Psych0matt
well I think I figured out what I need to do as a more perma-fix. I'm gonna get a section of solid fuel line (I believe they have that at AZ?) and put some fittings on the end of two pieces, so that I can use the new stock filter I got, and then use a piece of hose over the splices. That way if I ever sell it it's still using the stock filter, and will probably be easier to get off (cuz you can just loosen a hose clamp or two and do it on the bench ). I'm gonna take it in to work with me today to see what needs to be done, maybe I can get it all set up so tonight after work I can take 10 minutes and throw it on
