superwombat
Fixed oil pump shaft o-ring, and I think I fixed a tranny leak... tranny pan bolts needed snugging (!) Now, because I let this go for quite some time, there's a few large oil stains on the driveway (clearly visible in Bolt_Crank's pic thread) I'm gonna try grinding a shit-ton of cat litter into it, I've tried Brake Cleaner to no avail, various soaps and detergents.... Any ideas/recommendations? This stain is mostly tranny juice, some motor oil.
5speedz34
Theres this stuff I have that as soon as it hits the ground it like takes the cement back to its natural color. It's called hy-pro spray clean, the stuff works wonders, but we got it through a door-door salesman, umm u could call their number 940-686-5514
Redfox340
Any ideas/recommendations?This stain is mostly tranny juice, some motor oil. Simple Green, and time. Let the concentrate sit and wash out later. The more you wash the better, but there will be some residual till the end of time. - Erik
phantomFE3
what about engine degreaser? or maybe even gasoline? woowee! gas-0-line; breakfast of champions! EDIT try some engine degreaser and let it sit for a while and then use a pressure washer to wash it off, that might work, or even just pressure wash it? im thinking that fast flowing water will take some oil out
4spdz34
i pressure wash mine, takes just about everything out, might work better if i used degreaser but i'm happy with just the pressure results

mfewtrail
autoparts stores usually carry industrial cleaners that will wash away most oil stains and whatnot off of your concrete driveway, I had some shit a while back that was a industrial floor cleaner that I used, it took all the stains out, I believe I threw the bottle away now, it was called "block white" or something like that, be sure to wear a dust mask or don't breathe to heavily around that stuff, a guy I know got a collapsed lung from breathing in the block white stuff
superwombat
Update: Cat litter ground in and let sit for a couple days, swept up, used Fantastik (household kitchen/bathroom cleaner) on it, let sit for a while, pressure washed the hell out of it. Results: stains are lighter now... will try some other cleaners while I have the washer here.
