White92Cutlass
If they're cheap enough and if they fit better than the used ones that are available. Would they come with a boot bag?
ripp
Im working with a trimer right now to see what we can do on the fit of the boots. I think the early boots fit better then the later ones. I still need to make a tool so that the hard plastic parts can be made, The bags will be no problem to make. What is a good price to be at? sxemach1
Ya i just bought one for my 1995 cutlass. Just go to ebay and search for "1995 Cutlass convertible" they are about 250 bucks. They come from a guy out of Florida that has an upholstery shop. Its a good tight fit. I attached a picture below of what mine looks like, this was brand new out of the bag, it just needs to sit in the sun for a bit and work out the wrinkles. It is leather and comes in all of the interior colors available for your year. Hope this helped.
jackhartjr
I bought one off ebay a few years back, do not remember from who or where...the graphite color was not even close to matching! And my interior is not faded. Jack Ya i just bought one for my 1995 cutlass. Just go to ebay and search for "1995 Cutlass convertible" they are about 250 bucks. sxemach1
It matched mine perfectly, even though their is about 3-4 different shades of beige in this car lol. Mine was made by Milos Upholstery in Florida. His ebay handle is milos110. Im not tryn to argue with you, im just tryn to help out the community. ripp
Is there any hard plastic in the boot ? Looks like it is all soft. I want to make them like oem
sxemach1
No, their is no plastic at all except for plastic grommets on the inside so the snaps of the buttons dont pull through. Ya it looks like this because i literally just got it in the mail that day and it came rolled up. If you want i can take a better pic of it tomorrow and post it. I think for 250 bucks it is pretty amazing. I will take all close up picks of the entire thing...unless its raining....i hate MN. I would say that the leather is the same, if not thicker than what is on the seats. And it comes with the velcro strip on it that runs the length of the back seat just like factory. Got to love it, mid april and we have snow for the next 3 days in the forecast. I hate MN Edited April 19, 2011 by sxemach1
xennith
anyone ever thought about making a hard, body-colored (maybe fiberglass) boot. I don't anything about making the stuff but I thought that would look nice.
