i stopped my my girls house and when i attempted to turn the car on, it was dead. It would crank sometimes, other times it wont. I already changed the motor mounts/ new battery, tested the alternator and im thinking its the damn T-Belt that went out of wack...wat could it be?

(Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah)

I don't want sound like I'm bitching at all, but:

I STILL don't understand why some people will put a lot of money into a car, get more than a few items replaced with New parts, and then adapt an attitude where they think too many things are going wrong, and decide to go purchase another USED car!?

I know people who have spent upward of $4,000 on a car worth $2,000, but then say "Man, I'm spending too much on this car. I think I'll just buy another car for $2,000."!!!??? Why the hell people even think like this is BEYOND any comprehension! People will replace 90% of the powertrain components, but then when the other 10% is ready to go, get rid of the car! LOL

Sometimes it seems like people are under the impression that a cars powertrain is made-up of an infinite number of components, and that the process of parts wearing-out never ends. This is just so far from reality that it's quite humourus.

In a nutshell, all I'm trying to say is that YOU know what you've done to this car, YOU have spent time and money replacing worn parts, why the hell would you want to get rid of it NOW?

You said "like after one thing goes another follows and so forth", well think about it, there's only SO many things that can "go". If alot of things have already "gone", than there's a good chance that there's not much left to replace!:)

Unless someone planned on getting a BRAND-NEW car, getting used car after used car just makes no sense to me. Unless you're putting almost NO money into the used cars, it's just not worth the risk of trying to get a "good" used car. You're just gambling when it comes to used cars.

I just hate to see people like yourself, that have done a lot of good stuff to their ride, let it go and then end-up with some other peice of shit that has had no where NEAR the care that you had put into yours.

Get it?

yeah, F feel you...Just very feel horrible. Seems like everytime I put my hand on her, I hurt her in some way. First the paintjob that replaced the

factory paint with a horrible orange peeled black, already cracking and

flaking off all over. Then the still very young engine is torn down at the

hands of jackasses with wrenches claiming to be mechanics.

It pains me to say it, but I feel as though I, me, myself, have destroyed

otherwise beautiful car. Seeing my car in its condition right now honestly

causes me to ache inside, feeling as though she is looking back at me with

a very depressed and sadden look. I know I whine and bitch alot lately,

and I know I may have personified the car, but I don't know how to feel...

I wrote the 1st post when i got home from towing it with a chain and just

watching whatever was left of the batter drain, almost yelling at me

"Help me please!" I luv my car. I just edited it, cuz i said things i didnt

really feel. Sorry for sounding like a bitch cuz i know i for sure acted like

one!

Sounds like a loose connection on the battery. Check the terminals and make sure they are tight and not corroded. Also if you want, check the connections on the starter too.

I honestly feel so bad for you.. i felt somewhat similar cos the car i bought for my sister just sits in the garage, leaking oil, never amounting to anything.. but if you tried t take good care of your car, that's what's important.........right? I guess it all amounts to "atleast you tried".

If you see the car as "in need, dying, and painful to look at because of dis-repair", now may be the time to fix all of that  . A few hours a week working on the car, spanned out over a couple of months might surprise you! Just remember, do it, and do it right..... Then your not fixing the same problems over and over like the guys that half-ass it.
