92GSCoupe
I need some info on the pre supercharged engines. I have a 92 regal gs with the 3.8. I'm sure it didn't come with forged internals. Has anyone had any luck putting some low boost on these engines and it survive? How about the ecu? Possible late model swap from 1 with the blower? Thanks for any tips. Addicted to eaton
yes you can top swap it, you need heads, LIM, and supercharger, and some belts/balancer. not really sure on a gen 1. then get a bigger pulley. Everyone is going to tell you to do a S2 3800 swap. And you could, But i see why you wouldnt want to.
RobertISaar
it would be fairly easy to grab all of the stuff from the later S1 L67 and drop it in... ~225HP IIRC. beats the 170 you're dealing with now. as for the ECM stuff, i could probably work up something for you, i know i have a couple of 94-95 L67 BINs laying around from C and H bodies... slick
I'd just make the jump to the Series II L67 and call it a day. Larger aftermarket, larger support, etc... And it's been done. A lot.
