godofthunder
Im just kinda currious...just in case my recent problem is terriable in a worse case scenario, what my options are. While id LOVE to have a 3800 S/C, unless i can find one for cheap and the swap is realllly easy...its not possible. Id rather just have the Grand Prix or regal it came in. I wouldnt mind a 3.4DOCH, but how hard woudl that be to drop in? I guess, what im looking at really is a 3100, the newer 3100, or a 3400. Is there wiring differences b/t the two 3100s, or the 3400? Or could any of them drop and go. Caus if so, i would reallly like to go with the 3400. jon
Robby1870
pre-99 I think, 3400s s a direct swap as far as I know

godofthunder
see, looking at that GM Powertrain site...thats maybe the diff from one extreme to the other. If you bought a crate motor...which one would you get, and what HP can i expect out of a 3400 in my CS? And does it bolt up to the 4t60e? jon
