KR1ST1N Posted March 16, 2011 Author Report Posted March 16, 2011 The interior isn't anything special but here ya go. Quote
MemphisMan Posted March 16, 2011 Report Posted March 16, 2011 lol, I was thinking of doing almost the same interior parts in woodgrain for my Cutty. I think the intent is the same...to spruce up our interiors and make them our own. Quote
Breakdown Posted March 16, 2011 Report Posted March 16, 2011 (edited) . . . sorry I just needed to see if that would work. . . . EDIT: Apparently yes. There also appears to be a double-standard that black on black violence is okay. Edited March 16, 2011 by Breakdown Quote
zog10 Posted March 16, 2011 Report Posted March 16, 2011 Welcome to the forum, Kr1st1n. Good looking car. Quote
Crazy K Posted March 16, 2011 Report Posted March 16, 2011 There's a girl on our forum? AWESOME! something I am forgetting.... uh..... uh... er.... leghumping? Oh yeah. Consider yourself leghumped! Welcome to the forum, again! Quote
94 olds vert Posted March 16, 2011 Report Posted March 16, 2011 I'm going to be honest. I don't see a guy driving that. Now since a girl is driving that it is pretty hawt. Most women don't care enough to do anything with their cars. I give you props for doing what you like to your car. Quote
pwmin Posted March 16, 2011 Report Posted March 16, 2011 agree...actually looks pretty nice...for someone that's not me at least welcome (again, i guess) Quote
theghoul Posted March 16, 2011 Report Posted March 16, 2011 Thats nice. The angel eye lights are a nice touch. Also, love the pink strut tower bar. Are those standard on GPs (sans pink ) ? Quote
Night Fury Posted March 16, 2011 Report Posted March 16, 2011 Love! Comes together very nicely. Quote
GnatGoSplat Posted March 16, 2011 Report Posted March 16, 2011 Looks great! If I saw it on the road, I'd be betting some hot chick drives it. Just curious, did you do any of that work yourself? A girl that takes an interest in cars is hot, but a girl that can turn a wrench is extra hot. Quote
KR1ST1N Posted March 16, 2011 Author Report Posted March 16, 2011 lol yeah I did it all. It took for freaking ever. I'd do it again in a heartbeat though. I love my car! Quote
Breakdown Posted March 17, 2011 Report Posted March 17, 2011 Kristin, What the hell happened to your avatar!! I was making art with it! Quote
KR1ST1N Posted March 17, 2011 Author Report Posted March 17, 2011 It was just temporary. I cannot use the one I usually do so I am on the hunt for a new one Quote
Psych0matt Posted March 18, 2011 Report Posted March 18, 2011 I mostly like it! I wouldn't have painted the [fusebox i think] in the engine bay, or the bolts on the dogbone mounts (looks like you just sprayed over everything at that point), but the rest is awesome. The interior is a bit too much pink, but then again I'm a fan of subtle accents that could look factory. Otherwise, it's awesome that a girl cares enough and also does her own work. :highfive: Quote
tornado_735 Posted March 18, 2011 Report Posted March 18, 2011 Looks damn clean! My girlfriend would love it. Quote
MonteCarloDude Posted March 19, 2011 Report Posted March 19, 2011 Agreed, very clean! Welcome back to the froums! Quote
KR1ST1N Posted March 20, 2011 Author Report Posted March 20, 2011 I mostly like it! :highfive: There is a story to some of the engine bay work. My ex finance decided to go ape shit with caliper paint and he painted those, and my freaking exhaust tips. I had to sand it off my tips and the engine bay I couldn't do anything about so I ended up sanding off what I could then repainted them to match the rest of my engine bay because the caliper pink was a different hue than my engine bay pink. He did all this when I went out of state to my grandfathers funeral. I was so mad! It looked so stupid. I want to get a set of chromed ones eventually. Oh and as for the dash, I needed something pink. Quote
Psych0matt Posted March 20, 2011 Report Posted March 20, 2011 its ok, everyone hated on my white defroster vent in my cutlass as well, but I loved it. The interior needed something subtle Quote
ManicMechanic Posted March 20, 2011 Report Posted March 20, 2011 My alter ego would definitely drive it... Quote
