Psych0matt Posted March 13, 2011 Report Posted March 13, 2011 (edited) So I am in the process of putting the rear silver crosslaces on the sedan (since the fronts have been on all winter). I jacked it up, got all the nuts off, etc, but the wheel is still on tight? I've never had wheels stay on with all lugnuts off. Both sides are doing the same thing. Am I missing something? digitaloutsider Posted March 13, 2011 Report Posted March 13, 2011 Kick the shit out of it. Seriously. Like on the edge of the tire. Kick it. Quote
White93z34 Posted March 13, 2011 Report Posted March 13, 2011 get a mallet and smack the shit out of the rim of the wheel from the backside Quote
Psych0matt Posted March 13, 2011 Author Report Posted March 13, 2011 I knew there was a reason I bought a 12lb sledge hammer! Steelies > me /thread Quote
94 olds vert Posted March 13, 2011 Report Posted March 13, 2011 That's rusty. But those rims do help. Quote
Psych0matt Posted March 13, 2011 Author Report Posted March 13, 2011 Surprisingly not as bad underneath. Rusty, but better than you'd expect. Car was free and is incredibly reliable, so I'll probably just keep driving it until something happens I can't fix Quote
Twenty Posted March 13, 2011 Report Posted March 13, 2011 While you have them on....any chance I could have you get some shots head-on, showing how the wheels fit within the arches? Quote
Psych0matt Posted March 13, 2011 Author Report Posted March 13, 2011 A) theyre staying on, so yes. they don't have the correct tire size on them. At all. Quote
Twenty Posted March 13, 2011 Report Posted March 13, 2011 I'm not too concerned with the tire size, it's more the wheel I care about. The tire size can be adjusted, the wheel can't be as much. Quote
