Rabbi1
Pulled my codes today and the only code i get is code 42 the car is a 1992 lumina z34 LQ1 Problems with the car are as follows : Stalls upon getting hot at stops (car doesnt overheat just gets warm) Lights dim when i turn headlights & heater (full blast) on car feels like it lacks power Also i tested the alternator & battery, they are both fine. Will be cleaning all my grounds up this weekend. Crankshaft Position Sensor has less than 4000 miles on it Spark plugs have less than 1000 miles on them also the car does some weird stuff when driving, The rpm's kind of fluctuate and i can feel the car lose power for a slight second. Almost like it doesnt want to hold a set rpm. This happens about once every 45-60 seconds once the motor gets a little bit warmed up. AL
You mean me, or did it happen twice? Lol 3 times, I replaced it twice, once it threw code 42, once it didnt... Each coil pack went bad at least once... Did 3 or 4 plug replacements (all 6 each time)cause they kept fouling out...
