So I recently went and knocked out my LIM, as I had chocolate milkshake oil when I bought the car. She has 99k miles, 3100 SFI. I completed the job, it sat for two days then I filled her up with oil and filled the radiator with water (as the car idled before the next oil change I was gonna flush the coolant system out) I knows heavy white smoke from my tail pipe. I drove the car around, and stopped and even at 30 minutes of drivetime and full warm up, there was still a light amount of white smoke coming from the tail pipe. I had tested the compression 3 weeks ago, all matched closely, discovered the leaking LIM. Since I drove the car around I have rechecked the oil and there does not appear to be any water in the crank case at all. Is it possible Im just leaking coolant into some cylinders? Could I possibly have warped or cracked head? The car runs and drives like a beast, but, theres just white smoke from the tail pipe, hoping its normall for a lumina to sit for a while and then all the sudden to be burning some coolant. If I tear down for one hg, ill tear down, have bot heads checked for cracks, surfaced and new guide seals to ensure long life from them. Any ideas here guys? Thanks!
