97Corsitruck
So I recently went and knocked out my LIM, as I had chocolate milkshake oil when I bought the car. She has 99k miles, 3100 SFI. I completed the job, it sat for two days then I filled her up with oil and filled the radiator with water (as the car idled before the next oil change I was gonna flush the coolant system out) I knows heavy white smoke from my tail pipe. I drove the car around, and stopped and even at 30 minutes of drivetime and full warm up, there was still a light amount of white smoke coming from the tail pipe. I had tested the compression 3 weeks ago, all matched closely, discovered the leaking LIM. Since I drove the car around I have rechecked the oil and there does not appear to be any water in the crank case at all. Is it possible Im just leaking coolant into some cylinders? Could I possibly have warped or cracked head? The car runs and drives like a beast, but, theres just white smoke from the tail pipe, hoping its normall for a lumina to sit for a while and then all the sudden to be burning some coolant. If I tear down for one hg, ill tear down, have bot heads checked for cracks, surfaced and new guide seals to ensure long life from them. Any ideas here guys? Thanks! AL
Its possible as you dont know the history of how long the oil looked like milkshake or if it was overheated, causing a cracked head or headgasket to blow
