lhipshitz Posted February 27, 2011 Report Posted February 27, 2011 We have a 1992 Olds convertible. I have been reading some of the posts regarding suspension. We have a new 2.5 road coarse in Colorado & my better half would like to make it handle. The track is High Plains Raceway, or H.P.R. in Byers, Colorado. I would like to know what can be done to stiffen up the suspension & what engine/ trans combo can be done to this car w/o a whole lot of extra work. Will a 3.8 supercharged fit, would Buick Rivera stuff fit etc.? Quote
94 olds vert Posted February 27, 2011 Report Posted February 27, 2011 Welcome! Yeah a 3.8 supercharged engine with fit in your cutlass. As always post up some pictures! Quote

Twenty Posted February 28, 2011 Report Posted February 28, 2011 Pictures please! As for suspension, you can upgrade to coilovers and add a pair of strut bars to really bring the car to life. I'd also suggest some stainless steel braided brake lines. Quote
