thakid22 Posted February 12, 2011 Report Posted February 12, 2011 I just bought a 94 3.1 Upon inspection of the engine bay, i found this wire disconnected. (it's circled in YELLOW on the attached picture). What is it and where does it attach? The base of the wire is routed with the Intake Air Temp Sensor. The come out of the same piece of black protective tubing. The wire is only so long, but there are nothing else in close proximity that it can plug into. Am I missing something? Or is this a connector for the 3.4 or 3.8 engine? I would appreciate it if another 94 3.1 or 1stgen owner would take a peek at theirs and see where it goes (if anywhere). I've looked everywhere and I'm stumped! Thanks a million. Quote
White93z34 Posted February 12, 2011 Report Posted February 12, 2011 it does not go to anything so to speak. if you were to touch it to your positive post you'd hear your fuel pump turn on. Its the fuel pump test lead. Quote
WhatTheFehl Posted February 12, 2011 Report Posted February 12, 2011 Yeah, I think that one has gotten almost everyone. Should definitely be a FAQ or a Sticky here I think Quote
stockgp Posted February 12, 2011 Report Posted February 12, 2011 it is, or at least was, in the faq section Quote

BXX Posted February 12, 2011 Report Posted February 12, 2011 Why would you be worried if nothing was actually wrong and everything was working??? Quote
