Chip
I did my rear struts like 4 years ago and remember having a helluva time with that damn auxillary dampener or whatever its called. Anyway, I was reading some posts that say that the KYB kits don't come with a bolt to hold the thing in compression. Does anyone know the bolt size, diameter, thread pitch, etc so I can get one. Also, the passenger side one is cracked and looks like it should be replaced. Any aftermarket recommendations or go with OEM? Thanks guys
mfewtrail
The bolt size is M10x1.5 and it's 90mm long. I wrote it down on a piece of paper the last time I did some rear struts on a w-body since this has been asked several times here.
Chip
Awesome, thank you. Does the rear end need an alignment check after this job?
Venom
short answer: yes
