White93z34
I went as far to get a 94+ push to set lever and cable, in the end I didn't like how poor it would have fit... nothing wanted to line up for me. I ended up keeping the pump to set lever.
kuntzie
you can do it, its in my 89 right now aswell i used 2g rear cables, 2g knuckles and brakes, and the front cable and ebrake from a grand am gt (99+ w/- disc brakes) on a 2 g you just add the handbrake and still use the grand am cable, its plently long enough with little effort it can be installed looking oem, also a grand am console does NOT fit at all, nor could i find and console ith a handbrake that did. wickedbuick
I swapped the push to set pedal about 5-6yrs ago and it was cake. Modified the bracket angle a little and used some washers to space it and it works great. still used the stock 91 cable and calipers too. It took less than an hour to get the old out and the new in

stockgp
i wonder if something like a jaguar xj6 brake handle would be a good alternative. they are made to go right next to the console
Mach 5
I like that ebrake handle setup. but I guess you would have to swap rear brakes then
Psych0matt
Hmmm, I might think about doing that on the GTP this summer... I don't suppose you did a writeup?
