stockgp
i have grand am monsson headunit sitting in the garage, and my girlfriend's gtp needs a new cd player. i'm just wondering if the monsoon head units have internal amplification or they rely entirely on the external amp? the only other issue i can see is mounting tabs. i can figure out how to get it mounted, as lo9ng as it has it's own power
Crazy K
assuming you are talking about the 94+ cd type radio? Unlike the Blose system The monsoon radio is a regualar radio with an external amp; the head unit is actually the same as the regular unit except for the brand mark... Addicted2bass
If its out of a GA then it does not have a internal amp, the amps on those cars are located in the trunk behind the carpet on the drivers side.
