sherbearjt08
I have seen really old threads on this but I am hoping someone has new insight. The driver's door will not open from inside or out. I have tried pulling the bar under the interior door handle and that does not work. The door is not locked. It seems to be stuck on the bottom half of the door. Any tips on getting open or removing the door panel or a part of it without being able to open the door? Thank you. Schurkey
I've got '92 and '93 four-door Luminas. I find that in the winter, the doors don't open fairly often. Seems to be due to water from snow-melt freezing to the weatherstrip. If I actuate the door handle and PULL/PUSH HARD, the door pops open. If it's below freezing where you are...you might try just beating on it.
GOT2B GM
try pushing in on the door as you pull on the handle
pistolpetez34
You could try to stick a length of coat hangar into the handle assembly and push down on the rod that works to open the door. Same thing just happened to me this morning. So far, this is the best I got, but at least its still driveable.
