AL Posted January 10, 2011 Report Posted January 10, 2011 The key fob for my 97 doesn't work... I haven't replaced the battery yet but I didn't really think of this till now... Could I use my factory key fobs from the 03 on the 97? The numbers on the back of the fob for the 97 is GM: 10246215 and the ones on my 03 are 9364556-4575 but if I need to post the FCC numbers I will... So what would it take to reprogram the 03s remotes to work on the 97 or would I be better off getting a new remote for the 97 off ebay and reprogramming it Quote
Euro Posted January 10, 2011 Report Posted January 10, 2011 I think the 01+ fobs will only work on the 01+ cars. That's what I've been told at least. I think getting a 97-00 one would be your best bet Quote
