Steering Wheel control light bulbs 94 olds vert

I've replaced the bulbs before, but it's been quite some time. I still have the write-up printed somewhere I think, so I'll either dig it up when I have time or find the link that I think I have stashed somewhere. You just use bulbs w/ tails from Radio Shack and solder them in in place of the old ones. The little red bulb "condoms" need to be transferred between bulbs.

edit: found it...now this is for the newer ones, but it should be similar for your case

Thanks a lot! I had mine apart & it's a little different than yours but knowing where to get the bulbs is what I needed. With the Cutlass you have to pull the airbag off & unscrew the units from the bag. ( I know it's disabled but I still hate messing with it!) I think I screwed up the cover on one, on these they look like they will twist off but actually you have to take the whole circuit board off to get to them. I'll take some pic's & post them.

Thanks again for the info.

no problem...glad I kept that and it helped. I figured it would have what you needed in it even though they're different setups.
