where can i buy one of those tiny air filters you plop onto the valve cover opening so that i can eliminate the hose?

fuck. on second thought. i dont think i can get one of those. the coils leave no room for one to be installed

yeah thats what i meant. but unlike urs on the 3.1 mines on the back about 5mm or less below the coils. thanks for the link

i know its there, thats what i said. i dont want to replace the pcv with the filter (which i didnt know you can do?). i just wanna put this filter on the rear air inlet so i can get rid of that nice ghetto rigged hose u see behind my intake

Ahhh...sorry, I misundetstood. I dont think what you did looks that bad personally. I got some stuff sorta like that for my MAP vacuum line

its not on the rear on my car......eithe i have a mutant, or 3100s have the cycle reversed. that is clearly a PCV valve on my front cover. i will go out and take picture today later if i have to

Yeah, I see now, I wasnt thinking right. I got the Chiltons out. Ignore everything I just said then, lol

the breather filter replaces the tube that does from the intake pipe to the valve cover.
