ss427
Anybody ever see this? It will be interesting to see if this ends up working and the performance that results.. http://www.highperformancepontiac.com/features/hppp_0606_pontiac_sprint_six_engine_build/index.html

rich_e777
Thanks for posting this, im in the market for an engine swap to a 3800 from a 3100 but i might wait awhile and see how this plays out and might just opt for a 3400 and try that. Would a super or turbo be applicable to the engine after that mod you think?
Schurkey
http://60degreev6.com/forum/showthread.php/30660-Primatech-DOHC-6-head http://primatechmotorsports.com/ (Primatech web site doesn't work for me...) First guess: They never got an engine to the point where it actually ran. Would a super or turbo be applicable to the engine after that mod you think? ANYTHING that runs can be supercharged. First Guess: This engine would have been exceedingly expensive; the results wouldn't have been all that great (too much displacement for the valve area) and it won't make a bit of difference if you "wait awhile", you'll get nothing since this whole project is from 2005--2006 as is. Dropping in a 3.4L TDC would be a nice upgrade from a 3.1, but it's going to be a fairly involved engine swap. Best to get an entire donor car, then you get the upgraded transmission, all the wiring, and the chassis upgrades, too. They are 2 very different engines.
thikstik
Wow, I remember seeing 2 sprint 6 Tempests in junkyard and hated not being able to buy them to keep for use one day.
