visitor
Ok guys here's the deal- I am putting my 1993 ste seats into my 1994 grand prix. I pulled the whole interior harness out of the ste, and trimmed it down to just seat wires. Got it all untangled and isolated and went to test it all. Here is where I ran into my problem.. Hooked it all up and.. Nothing. Nada. No buzz whirr nothing. Ok so looking at it, all wires/plugs are accounted for except this one- Which is on the harness directly connected to the controls (in the center console. I thought this was just a light, but is it possibly a power source for the control box? If so, I know orange is power, black is ground, what is the grey? IlluminAtion? If it helps to know- the seats power is separate, I have no power wire running directly to the controls unless it's in the seat harness.. Any help? Anyone know what that connector is for? Any help would be great, or if you would happen to have a wiring diagram even better.. Thanks!
rockfangd
it is the orange is constant, the black is ground, grey is illumination, when I put AQ9s in my 94 cutlass I had to hook up at least the black and orange to make it work the controls, I tapped into the cigar lighter circuit,
