Tonight on... The Check Engine Light

Well I was on my way to get a headliner for my Grand Prix but I guess it doesnt want it. I was waiting at a left turn light (of all places) and the SES light popped on. I figured, no big deal I'll check it out when I get to the junkyard. But as soon as I went to accelerate, it was bogging BADLY... to where I had the pedal to the floor at one point and only doing 5mph. So I limped it home, checked the codes and nothing. I start it back up and it was running and driving just fine, so I tried heading to the JY once more. At that SAME light it started acting up again, only worse this time. I couldnt get it to stay running so I had to neutral drop it to get it to move. I pulled into a parking lot and checked the codes and it was 42 (http://www.gnttype.org/maint/malf.html#42). I was going to get around to replacing the coils and ICM because it runs bad in when it rains out and it has a fresh tune up.

I was just wondering if anybody has experienced this and what they did to solve it.

Cool, I have one of those, I just havent gotten around to installing it because the starter is in the way. Only reason it confused me was because when the ICM went on my Cavalier it still ran fine without bogging, it just wasnt firing on 2 cylinders.
