xtremerevolution
Got a deal on a complete Getrag 282 5 speed setup; everything from the interior, minus the left-right shifter cable as that broke, for $250. The trans is rebuilt, comes with an additional rebuild kit, and axles as well. I need to tell the guy who's parting the car out what to pull. Can someone please give me a complete list of parts that I can give him so he knows what I need? Thanks! jimmyfloyd
Axles Trans Trans mount Intermediate shaft bracket Clutch slave Hose from master to slave Clutch master with reservoir Brake Booster (not sure, was told once it is different.) Firewall plate Aluminum mag bracket w/ pedals Neurtral Safety Switch Shift cables Shift cable bracket on trans (easily misplaced when removing cables) rubber grommet for shift cables Shift lever assembly Retaining clips on body (looks like a stud with a flat metal clip on it) Shift boot/console Shift knob Clutch, Pressure plate, flywheel. If you have column shift, you may want the steering column too.
xtremerevolution
I don't think a 5 speed will be column shift. Thanks for the list though.

BXX
Axles Trans Trans mount Intermediate shaft bracket Clutch slave Hose from master to slave Clutch master with reservoir Brake Booster (not sure, was told once it is different.) You need a 88-93 small brake booster Firewall plate You can modify the stock one (cut it) for mount the clutch master cylinder Aluminum mag bracket w/ pedals A early model like a 94 and down already has the spot for the clutch pedal, just add the pedal Neurtral Safety Switch I have verified 94 2.2 cavaliers have the same one, so those years will have one you need Shift cables Shift cable bracket on trans (easily misplaced when removing cables) rubber grommet for shift cables Shift lever assembly Retaining clips on body (looks like a stud with a flat metal clip on it) I got ones from a 94 2.2 Cavalier which are the same Shift boot/console Shift knob Clutch, Pressure plate, flywheel. If you have column shift, you may want the steering column too. I added a few info tidbits. But thats what you need.
TGP5sp90
Don't forget to get all bolts, I left the flywheel bolts at the Junk yard 200 miles away, IIRC it took some time to find a new set.
