EMNCFI
Ok my stock fuel pump makes a strange noise every now and then after the car is shut off. Since the car has 111000 on it, and I would just as soon not get stuck somewhere, I am going to replace the fuel pump soon with the walbro. Over on TGP forums, there is a good write up on the replacement, although the pics are not loading. The problem I have is this from Auto Performance Engineering, they have 2 pumps, one for GM universal, and one for the GN, Syclone and Typhoon. From searching on the forums, I get the following part numbers: F20000169 FPG003 The problem is that refers to two different pumps on their site. The write up on TGP says "the pump is F20000169 which is auto performance inventory number FPG003" or something like that. Again that refers to two different 225 pumps, one is $113, and one is $114. Anybody got a hint which number is correct? And should I order an install kit too?
