phantomshado
I have a Kenwood minidisc reciever in my car. Minidisc, I know, but look at it this way, a bastard media format is great, I control music all the time, and none of my friends have MD so they can never tell me they have a great disc, furthermore, 5 hours of skip-proof, scratch-proof, programmable, rewritable media, in a 2 1/2" disk???? Can't go wrong. Anyhow, heres to the point, I want to get a Sony MD changer, my reciever supports MD/CD changers, but I was wondering if there is a converter to go from a Kenwood head unit to a sony changer??? If so, please tell me, it would be amazing. Thanks all.
92turboLE
out of the list i would go with kenwood, although i personally prefer Pioneer or Nakamitchi. Nak is the better one and if you can find it (its not easy) then it is defiantely worth the money. - Justin
92turboLE
another suggestion.... you might want to look into the kenwood Keg. It isnt a minidisk changer, but a 10GB MP3 harddrive. Skip proof and all... it isnt that bad actually, probably cost you less then the MD changer... and it should plug right into your deck. just a thaught. - Justin
musthavemuzk
ummmm lemme say no changers only owkr with head units of the same brand. unless the changer is FM modulated. FM modulated changers can be controlled by any HU even factory. MP3 capable head units (HU) can hold alot of frickin music. depends on the quality of the MP3. many higher line HU's have hard drives built into them. so you can either take it right from the CD or from a memory card to the HU. as was mentioned the Keg from Kenwood. not sure on price but the hard drive gets connected to your computer and you set it up. 10gigs and i think they are making larger as well as selling the hard drives seperate now. http://www.kenwoodusa.com i have a kenwood excelon HU about 4 years old now. want new but it still works so it stays.
