gpchris
As some of you may remember i posted on this a couple months ago. I ended up getting 500lb springs in the front. Theyre relatively streetable but im getting kind of tired of having to avoid bad roads. I love how these springs let the car handle but i hate hate hate the bumps. Its getting bad. I dont want to go down too far in spring rate but i need a little relief. I was thinking about going progressive rate. so.. Who has experience with progressive spring rates? Does the car still handle good with progressives or should i just stick with a solid spring rate? And what would be best for the front? 365lb-465lb or 180lb-600lb? Mach 5
I wonder if its more so because of the lack of dampening. What shocks are you running in the front?
BXX
It is because of dampening Adj Konis are required at that point bud.
gpchris
Im going to upgrade to the koni's over the winter but im still thinking i need softer springs. Im probably going to put in 425lb springs or 365-465 progressive. Does anybody know the stock spring rate? I just want to make sure what im putting on is a upgrade. I put in 400 because I wanted to be more comfortable on my way to California from Chicago. I'll sell you my 12" 425 lb springs if you are interested, as I'm not going any higher till I get Konis in there. GTP091
I've read before the stock rate is 350 front and 200 rear. No guarantees it was right
