man, the underside of the GP is death incarnate....

i may have pics soon, if i decide it's worth the risk to destroy fuel lines to repair a gas tank leak.

the MC was..... well, it had VERY nice sections, but the occasional rot patch.... it was confusing.

I live in the southeast and my cars have been down here all their lives(for the most part - the red car spent some time in the southwest IIRC), so the underside of all of them still looks practically new.

I think both my Z34 and TGP were stored most winters, my TGP is slightly more rustfree then the z34 is. But They are both damn clean. And both have been northern cars their whole lives. Most any rust I have can be remedied by southern junkyards.

Now my old TGP.... what a rust bucket.

Found a few of the Lumina from way back. This was 4 years ago, I'm sure it's a total disaster now(if she's still around:( ) Don't show everything, just the back really. They were just quick snaps in the driveway.

Here's the TGP. It's not as awesome as I remembered because I forgot the fuel tank and suspension parts have some surface rust, probably from when I kept the car in a shed w/dirt floor, but the unibody itself is completely rust-free. I have a few pics with the fuel tank out too, no rust above the fuel tank at all. Somebody's gotta want this thing! Interestingly, they didn't paint the underbody with a color coat at all, while my 89 has a nearly completely painted underbody.
