how do i get door panels off?

i need help getting the door panels off, im taking them off to see what the situation is with the door speakers and then my locks seem gummed up and i want to clean them or see what the problem is, i got the lower part off, like surrounding the seat belt carrier and the door lock motor, but i cant get the rest off! help please!

:lol: there is a screw holding the door panel on right under the window and door lock controls if you didn't get that off then they won't come off at all and the is another couple in the door pulls.

i forgot to look at the kind of car.

first gen cutty

back of the door is where the belt goes into door. there are two screws there and then the cover piece that pops in.

 

front top of door there is a screw

in the handle recess there is a screw.

once that is removed i think there was one or two more in their.

be careful on the one that goes to the rear. as it is long and can fall easily. especially when putting it back together.

 

bottom center of door is a screw.

 

plus the wonderful push in retainers.

there is a tool for this, but a wide flat screw driver will work too.

 

i think that is all of them

 

thought i had a pic of the inside door panel but i do not.

in the center is a bracket that sticks out. this is where that long screw goes i mentioned above.

 

most of all be patient and take your time.
